This section applies to customers using the JiT app to place and receive orders.

This section applies to self-employed drivers operating on the JiT platform.

We collect your precise GPS location when you are online on the JiT platform to match you with nearby orders. We do not collect location data when you are offline.

4. Video Recordings

You are required to record videos at pickup and delivery points. These are stored securely and used exclusively for fraud prevention and dispute resolution. Videos may be reviewed by JiT staff in the event of a complaint.

5. Document Storage

Your driver's licence and insurance documents are stored securely and used solely for verifying your eligibility. These are not shared with third parties except where required by law.

You are required to record packing videos for every order. These are stored securely and used exclusively for dispute resolution and fraud prevention. Videos may be reviewed by JiT staff in the event of a complaint.

Lawful Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR Article 6, JiT relies on the following lawful bases to process your personal data:

Performance of a Contract (Article 6(1)(b))

The primary basis on which we process your data is to fulfil our contractual obligations to you. This includes processing your order, assigning a driver, completing delivery, and processing payment. Without this processing, we cannot provide the JiT service.

Compliance with a Legal Obligation (Article 6(1)(c))

We process certain data because we are required to do so by law. This includes retaining financial and transaction records for tax purposes (up to 7 years under UK tax law), cooperating with law enforcement when required, and meeting obligations under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
